National Memorial Holiday Fund grants round three funding summary

The third National Mikey Powell Memorial Family Fund (NMPMFF) Holiday Grants round closed on 7 September 2024. This also followed recent changes that were made to simplify the application process.


We successfully allocated £3,050.00 in grants to 10 families/campaigns/family members in this round. This takes the total awards over the life of the Holiday Fund to £4,050.00.

The NMPMFF Support & Engagement Coordinator, Tiphany Springer said;

Previous Round Two Holiday Fund Grant

We provided significant support to Kebba Dobo Jobe’s family for a wellbeing holiday and estranged family visit to Gambia of 13 family members in early 2024.


The United Families & Friends Campaign's Legacy Fund also contributed to the total grant that was awarded.

"See this beautiful dedication to Kebba Dobo Jobe, another fatality at the hands of the police state in 2004. We were so pleased to support their reunion and holiday to Gambia. This is why we do what we do... Onward"
